Laugh For No Reason

Yesterday just went to Kota Damansara to meet with my friend, Andrew. He is my classmates in secondary school time. He is also one of my friends complaining about I keep laughing and laugh for nothing. Needless to say, yesterday I was laughing when having the conversation with him.

Luckily we were sitting at the outdoor and I could laugh very loud. Imagine laughing inside the Mcdonald. I think other peoples will think I am crazy only. But outdoor is better so please choose outdoor if you want to laugh.


Smoking. May be you will think he looks like a bad guy. I can tell you that you are wrong because don't judge the book by the cover. Smoker doesn't mean bad guy. Non-smoker doesn't mean is a good guy also.

After that, we went to test car. That was my first time to test his new car. He just got a kelisa but I think it is a "sway" car la.. Why "sway" car ? Firstly, the car plate number is 4442. Then, sometimes the car will lost control after cornering. Lastly, yesterday bang something when he was driving. Luckily everything is still ok..

The World Is So Small ? 世界真得有那么小 ？

Today, I just went for the interview session in Setapak. It is Gamma Solution Sdn Bhd and I am applying for Technical Engineer position. The company is running the cctv business and the job for technical engineer is to guide the and present the solution for the sales team.
今天，我到了文良港的一间公司应征。这是一家名叫Gamma Solution的私人公司。而我是应征工程师的职位。这家公司是一间专门在做闭路电视的公司。工程师的工作着是提供指导给行销部门的人。

But why I put the title as "The World is So Small" ? What I have done ? I ran into someone ? haha..
可是，为什么我会放“世界真得有那么小”的标题呢？到底是什么原因？难道我遇见了某某人？

Ok, I am going to tell the story again. I am not a good storyteller. Hopefully you all can understand.
好的，我又要讲故事了。我不是很会讲故事，所以希望你们会了解故事的内容。

It is very common that you have to fill up your personal details when applying a job. Most of the company will also ask for the reference. That means you have to put someone as a reference in order to let the company know about your personal details. Therefore, I just fill up the form and my reference is a lecturer from Utar.
一般上，当你再申请工作时都会填写个人资料在一张表格上。很多公司都会要求你放几位参考人以便让公司能够从参考人的身上了解更多你的个人资料。

Then, the manager from the company interviewed with me. First, he asked me to introduce myself. After that, asked some basic questions. I just answered steadily and honestly. Suddenly, he asked me for the reason that I put my lecturer as my reference. At that moment, I felt a bit strange. Why asking these kinds of questions ? Anyway, I have to answer him. So, I said he was my lecturer and he is course tutor in Utar also.
之后，那间公司的经理应征我。起初，他叫我介绍自己。然后就问一些简单的问题。所有的问题我都老实回答。突然，他就问我关于我的参考人。他问我为什么会放他呢？当时，我觉得有点奇怪为什么会问这样的问题呢。无论如何，我还是回答了他。我的答案是，因为他曾经是我的教授而且他也是拉曼大学里的科系领导人。

After that, he told me some of the company backgrounds and asked other questions. Then, he talked about my reference again. This time, I felt he is more interested to know my lecturer's detail more than me. I just answered his question again.
过后，他稍微更我讲解了一些公司的背景也再问了我一些问题。然后，他又在提起我的参考人。这次，我发现他好像对我的参考人的资料很有兴趣。我也回答了他所问的问题。

After this, you know what did he says ? "Actually he was my ex-coursemate". Omg! What a coincidence. I just simply go for a company and the manager knows my reference. Naturally, I was laughing on the spot because I like to laugh. Luckilly I could control myself and did not spoil my image. Because it is very very "ngam". I think to meet these kind of things, the chances are less than strike by lightning. So, he asked me about him and I just told the manager what I know about my reference.
之后，你们知道他说什么吗？“其实这个人是我以前的同学”。 我的天啊！真的这么巧阿。我随便到了一家公司应征也会碰到我教授的同学？很自然的，我也马上笑了起来。因为我是个笑口常开的人。幸好我还能控制自己也没有损坏形象。因为我觉得真得很巧。我觉得要碰见这种事的机会比给雷打中还难。然后他也问了一些关于他的问题。

The interview is about half an hour. But, I really enjoy with it because it is really funny and I never expect this also. Tomorrow, I am going for another interview which is in Nilai. Hopefully I will have fun for the interview also.
这次的应征大约是半小时。我非常的享受整个过程因为真的太巧了。况且我也没想到会发生这种事。明天，我将会到Nilai的一家公司应征。希望也会是个愉快的应征。

Journey To The South 南下之旅 - part 3

Time flies and christmas is around the corner. Every year, Orchard Road will be the most beautiful street in Singapore. All the shops will decorate their shop with the christmas background. Although we cannot get winter in Singapore, but I believe the tourist still have the christmas feeling due to christmas decoration in Orchard Road.
时间过得真快，一年一次的圣诞节又快来了。每一年，新加坡的乌节路将会装饰的全新加坡最美丽的一条街。所有的商家们都会以圣诞气氛将自己的店面装饰很美丽。虽然说新加坡没有冬天，但是我相信在乌节路的旅客们都会被这里气氛给感染。

This year, I went to there before the Christmas day. It is about one month before the christmas. The road was consider as crowded when I went to the Orchard Road. Many peoples just finished their work and some of the tourists were taking photo (including me).
今年，我在圣诞节还没来到前就去了那里。大概还有一个月左右才是圣诞节吧。我去的那天，路人还算慢多的。很多人都是刚下班，不然就是旅客们在拍照（包括我）。





Besides that, I went to the Ion Orchard. It is the most beautiful, most expensive, highest class, quite new shopping centre. All the peoples inside the Ion Orchard look very loaded. Maybe looks loaded by empty inside. haha.. I just went there with a t-shirt and a bermuda but they were wearing formal shirt and necktie. I feel it is more like a convention centre. When I went to the toilet, it was very very nice. I think it is the best toilet I found in singapore. The toilet is very very clean and can sleep inside the toilet also.
除此之外，我也到了Ion Orchard. 这是一间最美，最贵，最高级，最新的购物场所。那里的人都穿得很高贵和开起来很有钱。可能是好看不好吃吧。哈哈。当天我只是穿了一间t-shirt和一件普通裤。而他们穿着上班衣和打领带。这也让我觉得好像商业场所。那里的厕所真的是干净到不懂怎样形容。我觉得这是新加坡最干净和漂亮的厕所吧。真得很清洁也可以睡在里面。

Tuesday morning, went to Singapore Zoo with my mum, sister and niece. It is the world's best rainforest zoo. I remember my last visit to Singapore Zoo was 2005 and many things have been changed after four years.
星期二早上，我和我的母亲，姐姐和侄女到了新加坡动物园。这是世界上最好的热带雨林动物园。我还记得我最后一次来到这里是在2005年的时候。四年之后，这里也有许多的改变了。

One year ago, there was a Malaysian killed by the white tiger. The guy was a zookeeper and tried to challenge the white tigers.
一年前，有个马来西亚公民在这里被白老虎咬死。他是在动物园里任职清洁工人。他是去挑战百老虎而被咬死的。

We are planning to go again on next week. Unfortunately, I have to go KL again for the interview session. Therefore, my Journey To The South will be ended up very soon.
原本我们打算要在下个星期在去一次。可是我必须在这个星期回去马来西亚了。原因是要去应征工作。所以，我的南下之旅很快就会结束了。

Journey To The South 南下之旅

Sunday morning, I was heading from Batu Pahat to South. Where am I going? It is Singapore and finally I am in Singapore!! This is my first time visit to Singapore in this year. Also, it has been a year never enter to Singapore. I remember when I was studying in Foundation Programme, I kept visiting here when I was having my semester break. But this year, I have no time due to the Final Year Project.
星期日早上，我从Batu Pahat往南下。这次我是去了新加坡。这是我在今年里的第一次来到这里。也是间隔了一年。因为我最后一次来到这里是在去年的年底。我还记得在我修读基础课程时，一旦有放假，我都会时常来到这里。可是几年，我没时间来。原因是为了毕业论文。

I realized there are many changes in Singapore after one year never been here. Such as the environment where I am staying now and my sister's home. Everything is new to me and I am trying to adapt with it.
一年后，这里也改变了许多。例如我住在这里的环境和我姐姐的家。一切都是新的。我也必须尝试适应这里的生活。

This time, I don't know how long am I going to stay here. Probably a week? Or two weeks ? I have no idea. Anyway, I will try to update my blog whenever I free.
我不知道这次我会在这里逗留多久。可能一个星期也有可能两个星期。不过，有空时候我可定会到这里的。

I am back 我回来了

Time to update my blog! It has been a week I did not come to here. My elder sister asked me how come this week never update "World Of Chew Meng". Haha.. Actually, this week a bit busy and I had spent some of my times in Kuala Lumpur and I just came back on yesterday. If I have neglected you guys, my sincerest apologies.
是时候更新我的部落格了！已经有一个星期没来这里了。我的姐姐也问我为什么这么久了都没有更新“我的世界”。哈哈，其实这个星期有点忙而且昨天我也刚刚从吉隆坡回来。如果忽略了大家，在此向你们道歉了。

Recently, I just went to the Silverlake company for the interviewing and I also got a call from another company to go for their interview. But, I think I have to do a survey on the company's background and I also haven't decide when to go for the interview. Then, I lepak in KL for few days after the interviewing with Silverlake.
最近，我是去了吉隆坡的一家公司应征。同时，我也接到了另一家公司的来电。我还没答应他们我会去应征因为我不清楚公司的背景。我还没打算几时会去，不过在答应他们之前我必须了解清楚公司的背景。之后，我也在吉隆坡逗留了几天。

Usually, some of my close friends would say that I am a crazy and eccentric guy. Never mind, I can take it because I know that I am totally normal at all. During these few days, I have found a girl has the same characteristic as mine. Talk nonsense, eat a lot, laugh for everything, laugh for nothing. But she still called me as "weirdo". haha.. Now, I know why my friends always telling me don't laugh and laugh for nothing.
通常，我周围的朋友都会说我的人有问题和奇怪。不过没关系，我可以接受因为我知道我没问题而且还是100%的正常。在这几天里，我发现了有个女生和我有一样的特征。喜欢说废话，很能吃，什么都会笑，有事没事也都会笑。可是他还是叫我“weirdo"。哈哈。现在，我才知道为什么我的朋友都叫我有事没事都在笑。



Thursday morning, I ran into her at this junction. Haha.. Then we went for the lunch at Picadilly in PJ. On the way to Picadilly, she tried to jump out from my car. OMG!! tak sayang nyawa. The reason is because I was kidding with her that I am going to KL town area.
星期四早上，我又很巧的在这个路口遇见了她。哈哈。。下午时，我们也去了Picadilly吃午餐。路途中，她竟然要从我车上跳出去。我的天啊！！这么不珍惜深生命。她想跳出去的原因是应为我跟她开玩笑的说我要去吉隆坡市区。

Besides that, I was flabbergasted when I heard she speaks in mandarin. The reason is because normally we communicate in english and she told me that her mandarin is very bad. But it was very accurate and I could understand also. So, I praised her mandarin but she said I was criticizing her mandarin. That was a compliment and I was telling the fact. Sorry, I am not so hypocritical yet.
除此之外，当我听到她说华语时，我感到非常的惊讶。应为我们通常都是以英语来沟通，她也曾跟我说过自己的华语很差。可是我听到的时候是非常的准确而且我也听得懂。所以，我就称赞她的华语可是她却说我在批评她。那是个赞美而且我也是实话实说。况且，我也还不至于那么虚伪。

One of my friend told me that, "The compliment from others is a poison, whereby jealousy from others is a present". I don't know. What do you think?
曾经就有人跟我说过，“别人的赞美是毒药，别人的嫉妒是礼物”。我不知道。你认为呢?

A Beautiful Excuse 美丽的借口

In our life, we always heard about "I will change" this sentence after some bad incidents happened.
在我们的人生里，我们时常会在一些事情发生后听到“我会改”这句话。

Sometimes, it is an excuse for those peoples who say this. A beautiful excuse. Because it is convenient and useful.
有时候，这对一些人来说只是个借口。一个美丽的借口。因为它好听和好用。

Especially couple, usually a person will use it to the person he/she loves.
尤其是对情侣，通常一个人会把个美丽的接口用在他喜欢的人。

When the person he/she loves want to end up the relationship, the person will use "I will change" as an excuse, as a shield to cover everything.
当喜欢的人想要结束一段感情是，那个人就会以“我会改”当作是一个借口，一个挡箭牌来维护一切。

The sentence of "I will change" is like a narcotic, when you do something wrong, you inject it into your conscience to make yourself and everybody around you feel better.
“我会改”就像是一些麻醉药，当你做错了一些事情后，你把麻醉药注射到自己的良心里好让自己和周围的人感到好过。

After a couple times, you will use it again and again. Chances are given again and again, you will use the sentence "I will change" again and again. Never change it.
过了一些时候，你就会不断地用它。机会一直又一直的给你，你就一直的又一直用“我会改”来掩护自己。永远都不悔改。

The Golden Path 黄金路

These few days, something is bothering me again. The thing is I don’t know which path I should go. Singapore? Malaysia? I don’t know. It is because both of these countries have their advantages and disadvantages. I am confused with it since the day I back from KL.
这几天，一些事情一直困扰着我。那就是我不知道到底要去哪里工作。新加坡？马来西亚？我不知道。这是因为在这两个国家里都各有各的好处以及坏处。自我从吉隆坡回来后就一直困扰着我了。
The advantages of working in Singapore 在新加坡工作的好处:
1) SGD is higher than Malaysia Ringgit　新加坡的对比率高过马来西亚
2) Public transport is very convenient　交通很方便
3) A country with less crime, can sleep peacefully　睡得安稳因为这是一个地犯罪率的国家
4) Siblings in Singapore too　姐姐和哥哥都在新加坡
5) A lot of nice foods and is easy to get　很多好吃的食物而且又容易找到

The disadvantages of working in Singapore　在新加坡工作的坏处:
1) A new environment, new journey for me　一个新的环境，新的旅程
2) Have to live and work intensely　生活和工作都很紧张
3) Very competitive because I am a fresh graduate, lacking experience 竞争激烈因为我是个新人，也缺乏经验
4) No EPF if I am holding a work permit　如果我持有工作准证，就没有EPF

I think the first choice for me will be KL if I really want to work in Malaysia. Altough salary and experience is important. But for now I think experience is more important than the salary. It is because I believe I can get more pay when I have a few years of working experience. I need experience for this moment!!
如果真的要在马来西亚工作，吉隆坡将会是我第一的选择。虽然说新水和经验是重要的。可是在这个时候我觉得经验对我来说比较重要。因为我相信只要有经验，以后一定能得到更好的新水。

In fact, I don’t really like the living style in KL since my first year in UTAR. But I am already used to it after four years studied in KL. There are a few problems caused me don’t like the living style. For example, traffic congestion is a common problem. Jam for 2 hours to reach the destination. Nothing I can do when I am in the jam and is wasting time also. Besides that, I will be bored during weekend. No place and don’t know where to go. Unless I can work during weekend then my life will be better.
实际上，自从我在拉曼大学读书是我就不太喜欢吉隆坡的生活。四年在这里读书也渐渐的习惯了。几种原因造成我不喜欢吉隆坡的生活。例如，时常塞车。塞了两个小时才到达目的地。同时也不能做什么东西而且也浪费时间。除此之外，在周末是我也很闷。没地方去也不知道要去那里好。除非周末是我也有工作那么生活会比较容易过点。

Now, I am still considering where to go. Because what I really need for now is experience. Anyway, I had already sent my resume to some of the companies in Singapore.
现在，我真在考虑到底要去那里好。因为现在我需要的是经验。无论如何，我也将我的个人资料寄去给新加坡的公司了

One’s destiny is altered because of the one decision. Several of decisions in our life but sometimes one decision may change our life also. A decision may affect everyone around us and change our lives. I just hope the decision I will make is a correct path, a golden path for me.
命运都因为一个决定而改变。人生有很多选择，但是有些时候一个决定将改变人的一生。一个决定也将改变到周围的人的命运。我希望我的选择是对的，一个属于我的黄金路。

Moment Before The Dawn Is Always The Darkest - part 2

Time to continue Moment Before The Dawn Is Always The Darkest part 2. First of all, let you all see 1 picture.


It is a terminal ferry entrance. The ferry terminal just started two years ago which was 2007. I was having my semester break too. One day, me and Andrew Sean were lepak in Batu Pahat town. It was around 1.30am. Quite bored actually and is like patrolling around in Batu Pahat. Since he said never been the terminal ferry so I brought him to the place. We met one weird incident when we just reached the place.


One Car stop exactly at this place and the engine was on. At first, we don't bother about the car. But, he stopped us when we were passing exactly beside his car. We thought his car broke down and was looking for help. So, we reversed the car to help the fellow.

When we were beside his car, we saw a Chinese guy and we just said “yes”? He looked at us and spoke Malay to us. He asked, “lu mau cari Ah Heng ah ?” Both of us were stunned because we don’t even know what he talking the about. Then, he asked the same question again. So I question him what Ah Heng. He said, “lu orang mau pergi mana?” “Mau masuk dalam”, Andrew replied to that fellow. He asked again, “mau cari Ah Heng ah ?” This time, I know something is going wrong inside and I saw his left hand moving down. Probably he was trying to get his firearm?? Parang?? Bomb?? I have no idea and I just spoke to him in Mandrin immediately, asked him can enter or not? We just go away after he answered no.

All the way, he kept following us. Then, I asked Andrew what is your plan because he kept following us. Haha.. He was driving Optima and we were inside the Wira. No way to run man.. Lol.. When we reached a junction, he stopped following us and I think he just want to make sure we leave the place. Needless to say, some bad thing happened inside. Too bad, I have no firearm to fight with them.

The second weird incident is a ghost story. Don't read it if you are a timid rat.
It was happened on January 2008. I went back to my hometown during weekend. So, lepak again... Lepak with Andrew again... Another friend, Rajan joined us also. After dinner, went to Minyak Beku again. Actually nothing we can do at there. We just chat for a while and balik. Andrew was the driver and I was sitting at middle of behind because we were still talking inside the car.

Suddenly, we reached a turning point and I saw one guy standing at there. The guy was looking at us. I didn't say anything at the moment. Just looked at him. After the car past by the guy, I am still looking at him. He was looking at me too. I felt very weird at the time. Because that place was very dark and how come he was standing at there?? Then I asked Andrew and Rajan why the guy standing at there? Rajan told me he didn't see any guy. I was laughing because I thought he was joking with me. But he really didn't see the guy after I asked again. Then I asked the driver, Andrew and he said no also. wtf... The driver didn't see the guy also?? Impossible !! What is the reason I say so ? Look at the picture below.


The guy was standing at the circle. Impossible the driver can't see the guy because it is a cornering. If the guy standing beside the road may be the driver and passenger did'nt pay attention on it. But it is a cornering, how come driver couldn't see it? I have no idea until today.

Moment Before The Dawn Is Always The Darkest - part 1

I woke up at half plus five in the morning today. It was because I heard a private message sound from the MSN. In fact, it was a not private message, just a stupid virus link wake me up in the morning. I should say my dream was disturbed by a virus link.

Anyway, I tried to go back to my dream but I couldn't make it. I planned to go for jogging. So I looked at outside, the sky was surrounded by darkness. I have no idea whether it would be raining or not. Then, I think about another idea which is waiting for the sunrise at the seashore. It was a good idea because I had only seen the sunset when I was very young and it will be my first time to wait for the sunrise. Sakkai betul.. haha..

Around 6.15am, went to Minyak Beku (the nearest sea in my hometown) after washing my face and brushing my teeth. Although the place is very dirty, but I still want to go because I don’t want to miss the sunrise, don't want to miss the beautiful scenery too. It needs about 15 minutes to reach the sea. On the way, the dawn is getting nearer and nearer, the sky was not that dark anymore.

About 6.40am, I found something wrong. I got a wrong bearing, wrong direction!!! Alamak.. I am not facing at the east. How could I see the sunrise unless the sun rise from east.


Now, I saw the sunlight from the direction and I can confirm that I am standing at the wrong place. Other than that, I remember this was the place I waiting for sunset. So, this is the place for sunset la.. adoi..

I immediately go to another place which is called Segenting and try to can see the sunrise. It is a small village and it just needs about 5 minutes from Minyak Beku. Unfortunately, it is not a suitable place to see the sunrise due to the place is situated at east too. Anyway, I have taken some pictures at here.

This is a special bridge because there is a myth for the bridge. People believe that you be together with the person you like if both of you and walk on the bridge. Thus, a typical bridge with a typical name which is called "Lover bridge"


This is the typical bridge. 1 year ago, I was drinking beer with my friends at here. That was 2.30am and fortunately I didn't fall down to the sea when I am high.

7.10am and is time to go back. On the way, I have taken some pictures too. Those pictures are not beatiful scenery or whatever. It is because some weird things happened to me last year. But, I am not gonna blog it right now. Lazy... So....
